Suda Masaki was one of the guests at the public viewing of the final match for Japan men’s soccer team to qualify for 2018 FIFA World Cup. Afterall, he sang the support song, Mita Koto mo Nai Keishiki, as well as starred as Oni-chan for the support commercials. You can check out [CYCLE’s account] for live tweets, news reports and even short fancams of the event. I have also translated some of its live tweets then.
- Suda guessed 2-0 to Japan when asked to predict the score. It became a reality.
- Suda said Ideguchi Yosuke when asked if there was a player that he paid particular attention to. Ideguchi was the star player for this match, and the scorer for the second point . He was also from Osaka.
- Because the video was so short, I’ve decided to share one of the TV news found where you get to see him so excited that he spoke without using the microphone (and without realising it!). He was obviously teased by his seniors thereafter.
