数年前に坂元さんにラブストーリーをやりたいと唐突に想いをぶつけた事がありました。
待って、待って、待ち焦がれた本。自分の大事にしてきたものや好きなものを共有できた時の心の喘ぎ。そこから始まる繊細すぎるというと肥大し過ぎですが、現代人のナイーブな部分がリアルに描かれていて、すごく好きな脚本です。
同じ関西人の有村さんには馴染みやすさと柔らかさとクレバーな幹の太さを感じています。
土井監督のもと、有村さんと始まる僕らの物語。今はただ楽しみです。

Several years ago, I told Sakamoto-san out of the blue that I would like to do a love story.
Waited, and waited, a script that I’ve been anxiously awaiting.
The delight that I felt when I could share things that I find important and I like. Even though things may become too generic when the perspective is too narrow, it realistically portrays the naivety of people today, a script that I like very much.
As Arimura-san is also from Kansai, I felt comfortable, and that she is gentle and clever. Together with Arimura-san, our story begins under the supervision of Director Doi. I’m already looking forward to it. Hope that we can steadily film it step by step.
